How do I outline the fonts in my design file?
Outlining fonts ensures that your text appears exactly as intended, even if the font isn’t installed on our system. Follow these steps to outline your fonts in your design files:
Adobe Illustrator:
- Open Your File: Launch Adobe Illustrator and open your design file.
- Select the Text: Use the Selection Tool (V) to click on the text you want to outline.
- Create Outlines: Go to

in the top menu and selectCreate Outlines
(or pressShift + Ctrl/Cmd + O
). This converts the text into vector shapes. - Save Your File: Save your file in a format like .ai, .eps, or .pdf. Go to
